photogrammama

PHOTOGRAM!
For this I wanted to keep some color instead of it being in just black and white. I put it in the developer and then exposed it to light before I put it back into the fix. I added different chemicals after I had developed. I also, in photoshop, burned some of the edges so that it had a bit more contrast.

selective focus

Here I focused on the line and the REEBOK!

Here I focused on the birdseed and the different colors that it showed.

landscape :P

Here I added a background so it was not as boring.

Here I boosted the color. I really liked how the color of the tree popped compared to the background

Annoying!

I hate when people smack there gum soo much and when they change how the talk when they have gum in their mouth AND when they smack and are mouth breathers.

I really hate when peoples eyebrows are messed up. I cant concentrate. It is too distracting.

line nd texturree

For this picture I wanted to bring out the texture in the snow from where the plow came through. I brought the exposure down and contrast up.

Here I added a texture lightly so that it wasn't so plain.

4 portraits

For this portrait I told her to just be herself; down to earth. I blurred the background, got rid of some of the stuff in the background and brought out her eyes.

For Rachel's I changed the coloring to a red tint for the background, blurred it, and brought out her eyes. This picture shows rachel has a fun side and she likes to show it. Although, it may be bothersome.

The killer antique store is where it is at. This man loves antiques which is shown by the swords in the background.

For this one I wanted to bring out his shirt and glasses so I took it against the clear blue sky, added a picture texture and blurred it.

40 layers

I chose to use this picture because I think it brings out a different mood then if it wasn't used in the forty layer project. The fact that it is black and white gives it more of a depressive tone. I also chose it because I liked how the layer effect made the mirrored image look. It also gave it the look of a scary movie, like the grudge because of how messy her hair looks with the layering effect.

Macro :)

For this shot I had the auto ISO, I over exposed it, I used the macro setting, and I did the manual white balance.

For this shot I turned the ISO to 400, over exposed it, and used the macro setting. I also played with the color in photoshop.

For this picture I over exposed it, used 800 ISO, and I used the macro setting to try and capture the texture in the money.

For this picture I used the macro setting and I over exposed it because there was not great lighting in the dinning room. I also did the manual white balance.

Layering

For this picture I did in the point of view of my mother. The stairway to the light is to represent me on my way to my future. The door represents that there will be road blocks along the way but i just have to get past them. The one way sign is saying to not look back; the past is the past. The paint brushes represent how I love to paint and our basement storage rooms floor is full of paint. The book is also another one of my hobbies that my mom loves that I decided to take up. The honey suckle is to represent my nickname "paigeypooh" and how she calls me her "little sweetheart".

ISO

For this picture I turned the exposure down and the ISO down one notch to help in bringing out the texture of the stone.

For this one I over exposed it and turned the ISO to 800

With this one i wanted to bring out the texture a lot since it was the only object in the picture. I sharpened it and had the ISO at 800

With this one i wanted the peppers in the jar to show as well as the texture in the counter. I used an ISO of 400 and I had my camera on a self timer on me counter so it would shake.

Compensation

I turned the compensation down for this one so that it would look a little darker

For this picture I tried to bring out the green more and i turned the compensation down two notches because of how much the sun was showing in the picture.

This picture was also taken under the trees but where I was standing, sun was shining through. Because of his i turned the compensation one down and re adjusted the white balance.

For this picture I turned up the compensation one notch. I think it helped to bring out the color more because I was under the trees.
